Project Overview

Craven Scaffolding were appointed to design and install a 69-metre high temporary scaffold at a building in Salford Quays. The scaffold was required to provide safe and reliable access for external repair works.

Scope of Works

The scaffold was erected with 3-metre lifts, allowing contractors to carry out work at multiple levels. The structure provided full access for:

• Cladding repairs

• Balcony works

• Window repairs

The layout was planned to ensure clear access could be maintained to all live shops,  whilst maintaining site safety at all times.

The Solution

Craven Scaffolding installed a robust and compliant scaffold structure, designed to meet the height requirements of the building and the demands of the repair works. Regular lift spacing ensured ease of movement and safe working platforms throughout the project.

• Safe access up to roof level to complete all refurbishment works safely and effectively.
